Build a baby-safe entryway for leaving the house

Make the leaving zone do some of the remembering.

Start with the real routine

Keep the diaper bag, stroller accessories, weather layers, keys, and adult essentials in a defined exit area. If possible, add a small checklist for recurring items that cannot stay packed.

Keep the system safe and simple

Separate baby items from general household clutter. Entryways collect mail, shoes, returns, and bags; the baby system gets lost unless it has its own space.

Make it easy to reset

Reset the entryway after coming home. Put the bag back ready, remove laundry, and restock what was used.
