Start with the real routine

Keep a small number of everyday blankets or muslins accessible for supervised use, stroller needs, or floor time. Store extras away so they do not fill every chair and basket.

Keep the system safe and simple

Follow safe-sleep guidance carefully. Soft items that are useful during the day may not belong in a baby’s sleep space.

Make it easy to reset

Wash and rotate textiles in batches. If a blanket is never used, move it out of prime storage.
